How do I set up my Logitech mouse to side-scroll?

Hello, I enjoy an HP Pavilion dv6000 notebook. I purchased the plug-and-play Logitech Cordless Mini Optical Mouse. When I got the notebook, it come with a free Windows Vista Home Premium Upgrade. I made backup discs, luckily. The rugged drive crashed and I decided to simply install Windows XP Media Center 2005 as I need the extra processor that Vista eat up. Now, in Windows Vista, my mouse also have the ability to side-scroll by penchant the clickwheel to either the moved out or right. Now I can't seem to capture it to side-scroll in XP. How would I set it up to variety the side-scrolling features work?

it dialogue about vista

from the site its say

Migrating to Vista:

We recommend to uninstall SetPoint prior migrating to vista (you will be able to use your Logitech upright and mouse basic functionality during the migration). Once the migration to Vista is completed, install a fresh copy of SetPoint to wallow in the full functionality of your Logitech devices and unleash the power of Vista!

If you have migrated to Vista next to earlier SetPoint revision loaded, we recommend to uninstall it and install a fresh copy of SetPoint to ensure it functions properly.

so maybe if you download the software it will work

hopefully
