How much is it to replace a motherboard?

For a computer?

How much is it to replace a motherboard?

Desktop, laptop, prefab piece of equipment, custom built, gaming, basic, doing it yourself, have it done?

Need more info to properly answer that question. Part itself may cost anywhere between $100-$300, roughly. Labor to have it done something like doubles the cost, typically.
$50-$500

be more spefic.
depends on the prob of a part..if totally dog-eared then it would be more..
Assuming you're surrounded by the US, a decent motherboard will cost around $100.

If everything within your old motherboard (CPU, memory, video card , etc.) can be used surrounded by your new motherboard, that's it.

If you buy a motherboard that wants different memory or supports a different CPU, you'll have to upgrade those as all right.

If you need to appropriate your computer to a shop to have the work done, I'd integer on about 1 hour of labor, so another $80-$100.
Depends on what you want; gaming or fundamental. You would probably also have to replace your processor as all right. go to ebay and you will find tons of motherboard/processor combos for duly cheap prices.
