How to format pen drive which have '.RAW' format?

I own a 8GB pen drive with RAW extension. I tried once to format it but I could not. How can I format it? My OS is Windows XP.

U can't format it if the pen is does not support formatting. The brand whom created it may disable this action by defaut surrounded by order to not accidently lose your background. I saw pen drives in this situation. So the single way u can verbs it is to delete all files from it. But if u can't format it on your notebook, try somewhere else, if it fails again...next the pen dosen't support formatting. Good luck
