How to speak about what the video card is?

I lately got a video card from a friend and after i put the card contained by, it's working, but it's not found in the alien hardware found when i try to install it in the computer. My friend have no idea what it is and it doesn't hold any markings other than serial numbers on it. Any route of finding out what it is so i can install the correct drivers?

Pull the card out, and look at the generous chipsets (black square chips) on both sides of the card. One will usually contain manufacturing information (Make / Model / Specs).

If you can't find it on the card, and Windows isn't detecting it, your best bet is to tender it / sell it put a bet on to your friend.
