How to know what type of motherboard i enjoy?

How to identify it? i looked around the processor but i couldnt find..is in attendance any other way to know? i own socket 939 if thats any help.i bought a Ram today, DDR Samsung 512MB PC3200 184-Pin DDR400 DIMM but it didnt suite my motherboard...anyway how to fand it?
