How to identify current hardware?

I would resembling to get a unmarked HDD, RAM, processor and motherboard. The thing is, I do not know which one is compatible beside my computer.

I would like to know how I can find the information on what is my current HDD, RAM, processor and motherboard and where on earth it states the compatibility.

as for the HDD right click on MY COMPUTER, PROPRIETIES, HARDWARE TAB, DEVICE MANAGER, you see a + symbol under disk drives.
