How do SAS, SATA and SCSI drives compare to one another? And what are the differences?

SATA drives are more commonly used contained by desktops, they are very swift and deliver great performance, and are compatible near most newer motherboards. SCSI drives, are normally used contained by servers, and spin up to 15,000 rpm, which is a lot compared to majority SATA drives that are only 7200(unless you own a raptor,like me, which spins up to 10,00) and they are also profoundly more expensive, and much smaller in size. i own never heard of SAS.
