How do I defrag my computer?

How do I defrag my computer?

Go to Start, All Programs, Accessories, System Tools, Disk Defragmenter
You turn to Start>All Programs>Accessories>System Tools>Disk Defragmenter.

I hope this helps.
my computer---> local frozen drive c:--> alternative click <right click.---> properties--> tools--> Defragmentation
If in XP =

Start - All Programs - Accessories - System Tools - Disk Defragment

OR - you can widen My Computer. On each drive you can right click and move about to Properties. On the Tools Tab you will see a Defrag option.

Hope That Helps!

You could use the Windows defrag program but intuitively I find it slow. I recommend http://www.auslogics.com/disk-defrag/ind... which is a free and exceptionally fast defrag program.
Hi,

This is trouble-free but do this first, go to your systems tools Menu and run Disk Cleanup which will delete adjectives your temp files then Defrag your Hard Drive (you will find it contained by the same menu). Hope this help you.
There are two common ways of defragmenting. One is to defragment as a full and another is to defragment drives individually.

Defragmenting Drives Individually:

Right click the drive you want to defragment and select Properties. Select the Tools tab and click on the button showing Defragment Now. Remember to click on the Backup Now button just below it and afterwards defragment if you don't want to take risk.
