How do i know what type of push own surrounded by my desktop?

i requirement some more memory but how do i tell what type of strike i have ddr or doesn`t matter what???

hi ,what i do is got to www.crucial .com,this website will scan your workstation,,and tell you what memory you enjoy ,how many desolate slots you have ,,and what brand name you have.also recomend the type you should purchase and how much your system can knob.good luck.
