How do I build my XP beside SP2 authorize that my processor is dual core?

When I run duty manager and click the recitation tab it only shows one processor. i oownloaded the clock from AMD and it just sees one processor. i've read some registry bowdlerize fixes but that is complicated. Anyone know a rapid fix? AMD athalon 64 x2 dual core 4000

You'll probably need a BIOS (Basic Input/Output System) update to catch it to recognise the CPU, it's not an issue with Windows (for once). I have the same trouble purely over a year ago when I upgraded to the X2 4400.

I'd suggest going to your motherboard manufacturer's website and searching near for the latest BIOS performance and instructions of how to update it.

Hope this helps
