How do I overclock an elderly AMD K7.?

Proprietary motherboards do not typically provide overclocking options. Sometimes you can receive away with jumper or through softwares. However, if PCI and AGP clocks are not locked, they will just increase when you increase fsb. System fast becomes unstable. The best overclocking boards are the retail enthusiast mobos that hold locked PCI and AGP clocks and full tweaking options.
