How do i bring back my CD's to play on my knees top?

I enjoy a 2 month old dell nouns top. I have used the disc drive to play cd's before and it worked fine. But presently it does nothing. I dont give attention to that it is ever realizing that within is cd in the drive. I own seached for the CD and i hold gone to the my computer to see if the cd drive is listed and it not... So how do i achieve my cd to play?

The CD drive itself might be defective, if it's 2 months hoary then it's lower than warranty, I'd call Dell tech support for this issue
right-click on My Computer budge to manage, not here click on device manager contained by the left pane. In the right pane left-click DVD/cd-rom drives see if within is a yellow advise symbol. If there is purely right click and uninstall. after you do this you can either right-click again and choose scan for change. or restart you Laptop. it should find the drivers and work fine after that. Now if you don't see anything in Device officer to begin next to. the drive is defective. Then call Dell.
