Follow Jock. Because the other alternative is to look at the markings of the soundcard chip (near the terminal where you plug within your speakers) on the motherboard and use those markings to do your Google search. I used to do that past I got Belarc Advisor.
it's built contained by! As in, you shouldn't own to install it!
Go to http://www.belarc.com and download the 'belarc advisor' run this and it will tell you construct and model of everything it detects on your computer!

You should not own to install it, as the drivers should already be installed and active when you received your computer.
